This white-blue porcelain vase was created by Tamir in 2018 in the city famous for its porcelain tradition - Jingdezhen in China.
The artist used a unique technique not typical of the Chinese tradition.
The calligraphy is done in a manner of traditional Mongolian tapestry - the worlds of Mongolian poetry are as precisely embroidered on the porcelain.
The classical form of the white kaolin vase contrasts with the contemporary design in cobalt blue giving an outstanding and unique effect.This is the first porcelain in the world representing contemporary Mongolian calligraphy.
